This is my final video of both man-made and natural textures with sounds I collected on my final sound walk. The same strategy holds true with this video. I matched the footage of smooth and rough textures with rough and smooth sounds. In addition, for my final video, I came up with the strategy of alternating sounds and the rhythm. For instance, I would start with the sound me walking and match the sound with stills that match each footstep. This would continue for five seconds and then I would jump to sounds that were surrounding me for ten seconds. The strategy continues throughout the video. Furthermore, I have decided to keep my video raw, meaning no special effects or transitions. While I was editing the footage and sound, I felt that adding these elements would take away from my video.
